Teacher Workshops

"Ten-Minute field Trips"

Hosted by: Erie County Conservation District and Environment Erie

This workshop is for teachers interested in working outside with their students on a variety of topics!

Whether the school has access to a park, playground, sidewalk, parking lot or window box, the activities presented at this workshop will introduce teachers to various field trips they can take their students on right outside the school doors. By focusing upon what is an everyday sight and occurrence in student's lives, teachers will be able to guide student's further into understanding the connection between themselves and the environment.
